  Joint Press Release By Mmaku General Youth Association (MGYA) and Mmaku Central Neighbourhood watch on 11th December, 2022. We the youths of Mmaku and Mmaku central neighbourhood watch received with a rude shock a news titled  "Breaking news! Native doctor, 4 others arrested exhuming human parts in Enugu cemetery"  The above news was stated to have happened in Mmaku community. This is not only a fallacy but a fiction meant to destroy the image and reputation of the entire Mmaku community.  To both the presiding priest of Mmaku catholic centre and parishioners, the fake news was a huge surprise and strange, as such was targeted to deceive the general public.   What happened was one mentally challenged woman from Enugu Afam Mrs Nkeiru Udenwaji nee. anukwuike who married to one Mr Udenwaji in Iyi Mgbowo which marriage was not successful.  The woman died after battling with strange ailment for over fourteen years and her husband refused to bury her...

  Mmaku General Youth Association MGYA Km3 Orji/Awgu Rd. 30th Oct. 2022 Press Release: We condemn in strongest terms, the trending video clip on the social media of an Agunese woman who was accused of picking a sacred snail and was molested by some unguided youths.  Such act of barbarism and molestation is strange to us as a community. We are not known for such act. We join other well meaning individuals, our community leaders, umuada Mmaku, our traditional rulers and Mmaku Professionals to condemn such an ugly act.  We thank the Nigerian police for responding to our call and apprehending those who committed such evil act against the woman. *To God be all the glory, today in history, September 25th 2021 was exactly one year of Mmaku General Youths Summit titled: The role of Youths in security, Substance ( Drug) abuse and community development.*  *The resources persons for the program was: Dr. Augustine Okolie, Dr. Chikazie Obasi and Mr. Enerst Okolie.
